Elevated

My Grandmother would often say "You've been elevated since birth" to her children and grandchildren.

She would tell us this to remind us that our mere existence proves our worthiness. 

Permission, acceptance, pedigree, or privilege are not a requirement to take up space and to be who you are it's your birthright.
